“No brand news that in the last years the Pagan/Folk Metal scene has grown a lot all over the world. Bands like Turisas and Finntroll already performed great tours, including in US. And the scene also has other famous names like Thyrfing, Tyr, Eluveitie e Ensiferum. In Brazil, it is not different, we have here our best representants: DELENDA ARCANA, compound by Orath (vocals), Fenrisulfr Voraz (Guitar, Nox Eterna), Nieflh Hassassin (Guitar), Megettus Savert (Bass), Azzerd (Keyboards) and Soler (Drums), the group has created its songs with lots of influences, however, with much identity. Besides the bands cited above, it’s possible to listen to parts of Dimmu Borgir (orchestrations and some vocals), Ancient Rites (vocals and backings) Amon Amarth (on heavy parts) and something from Emperor (from the last albuns, specially about the keyboards). Totally ready band to release a full-length. And if the world is fair, by some record label. (8,0)

New EP is Coming Soon!

After some time only composing and doing concerts, we’re finishing our first work, an EP with 5 songs entitled “Last Breath of a Dying Enemy”. The recording of this work began in July 2007 in the studio Cia. do Som in Jundiaí/SP, Brazil, with the production of Ricardo Cecchi and Delenda Arcana.

We are currently at the end of the mixing, the mastering should happen in a few weeks. The arts of booklet and cover are now being produced, along with our new site.

We will be also upgrading our myspace to embed the new songs. We are very satisfied with the result and we can ensure that it will be a material of good quality.
